SAN MAO

THE GIRL WHO WANT TO BE  A SWEEPER AND TO SELL ICE CREAMS

I first heard about San Mao two years ago when a friend from Canary Island proposed me to produce a documentary about her.

I started to research about San Mao  through books and videos and talking with my friend Link from Shangai..

At the same time  Susi Alvarado presented a documentary film at the Cervantes Institute of Pekin which showed San Mao as a very attractive woman. She´s a Karen Blixen, but from Asia.

Not much time later a TV channel from China showed a documentary about San Mao which broke  the legend.

Who was San Mao?. Which is the truth? is it essential for the development of the events?. The truth, the Legend, the post-truth. How is the reality built in our world?. It is the challenge.

It is the aim of this documentary. Europe, Asia, America will be the route to walk across to design San Mao’s Maps.

CORAL CROWD: COLLECTIVE HISTORY

Coral Crowd: Collective history

A new urban conscience is rising against the passivity of the public powers, of the market and of the social privileges. The civil society has once again raised their voice announcing a new time of hope. But there was a time where everything could have been different. This is the history of the group represented by the persons who believed in this, in their artistic demonstrations in theater, cinema, music, comics, illustrations, emergent social movements and arguments that today sounds familiar to us. That stays of it and since it has affected the emotional way of the above mentioned prominent figures?

RESCUING SHADOWS: CINEMA DEATH AND MEMORY

The film is still the essential film support. However, like everything physical, it deteriorates and decomposes, leading to the disappearance of works that are not only part of the viewer's memory, but that record and represent the memory of more than a century of Cinema existence. In the film archives around the world  it is developed a fundamental task: rescue from death and oblivion these works, reconstructing, restoring and preserving the memory of the twentieth century.
